About Us

Who We Are

Mosaic was formed by a small group of volunteers who shared a vision of reaching more of Norristown’s youth with Christ’s love and empowering them to become leaders in the community. Our first event took place in 2015 with a very small group of volunteers and about a dozen students. We now serve over 30 middle and high school students. 

Mosaic Norristown is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Becky Bowersox brings over 20 years of experience in teaching and ministry to her role as our executive director. 

Our Faith

Mosaic is a distinctly Christian organization that aligns itself with historically orthodox views as expressed in the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds. While our faith is central to everything we do with students, we offer opportunities to youth regardless of their faith backgrounds or interest in spiritual development.

Training We Offer

Because Mosaic desires to serve our students well, we prioritize training our volunteers in cross-cultural communication, trauma-informed practices, and racial justice.

Peter Bowersox, our board president, and Becky Bowersox, our executive director, develop experiential learning opportunities for our team based on Peter’s doctoral research and their years of experience in multicultural ministry.

Peter and Becky have also facilitated training sessions for college classes, churches, and other nonprofits. Please contact us if you want discuss training opportunities for your group.
